Bilingual Social Worker – Grant
Job Summary:
This position will provide bilingual counseling (in-person and virtually) to women and families coping with Breast Cancer. It will also provide on-site weekly crisis intervention, concrete services, advocacy and patient navigation for patients served at Nassau University Medical Center Breast and Oncology clinics and at other hospitals as directed As well as providing consultation and education to health care providers and facilitating support group(s) (in-person and virtually) in English and/or Spanish. This is a grant funded position.

Family Consultants work with farmers to develop strategies for better communication, manage stress and anxiety, facilitate difficult discussions, and many more personal/family issues.
The position requires an MSW, LCSW, masters in counseling, or equivalent degree/certification. Significant, successful experience working with clients on communication skills, interpersonal relationships, goal setting, and/or addiction, family, and mental health counseling.
This is a contract, non-benefits eligible, 19 hours or less per week position with an annual reappointment based on job performance as well as approval and funding availability. Clinical Supervisor (LCSW) – Wellness Center
The Arc Westchester is the County’s largest organization supporting children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities, including individuals on the autism spectrum.
We are seeking a highly competent Licensed Clinician to provide clinical and administrative oversight of the Wellness Center, The Arc Westchester’s OPWDD licensed Article 16 Clinic, supporting individuals with IDD to live to their fullest potential.
Summary: Responsible for overseeing the operations of The Arc Westchester’s Article 16 Clinic. Directs oversight of the clinical services provided including PT, OT, SLP, psychotherapy, psychiatric services, and evaluations. May conduct psychosocial assessments.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, OR Licensed RN. Valid NYS License for Clinical Social Work (preferred). Or OT, PT, SLP. 3-years experience working with individuals with IDD. Supervisory experience preferred.
