Immigration Reform

DREAM Act – NASW-NYS will actively engage in advocacy efforts to secure passage of the New York DREAM Act. If enacted, this legislation  would  allow  undocumented  students  who  meet  in-state  tuition requirements  to  access  state  financial  aid and  scholarships for  higher  education. It would  also  allow for ALL New York youth to establish 529  tuition  savings  accounts.
