Licensure and Scope of Practice: Information for Social Work Students

We are often asked “what is the process of getting licensed once I graduate?" and "what is the difference between an LMSW and LCSW?" This program will outline the steps for new social work graduates (MSWs) to get licensure, as well as the differences in scope of practice between MSWs, LMSWs, and LCSWs. The presenters will discuss various aspects of the pathway to licensure, as well as various considerations along each step.
