This workshop is open to everyone in the community and is approved for licensed social workers, licensed mental health counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, and licensed psychologists.

Certificate:
To receive CE credits, you must attend the full training on both days. After the second day of the conference, a course evaluation will be sent to the email you registered with. You must complete and submit your evaluation by Wednesday, June 4th at 5:00 PM in order to receive your CE certificate.

Disclaimer
This conference focuses on veteran cultural immersion, aiming to equip clinicians with a deeper understanding of veteran experiences and how to provide effective support. As part of this learning process, participants may be exposed to difficult and sensitive topics, including but not limited to combat trauma, sexual assault, violence, and abuse, as well as discussions on political and geopolitical issues (e.g., Israel-Palestine), military policy, and social dynamics within the veteran community. Additionally, explicit language may be used during discussions to accurately reflect veteran communication styles and lived experiences.
The views expressed by speakers and participants do not reflect the official stance of NASW-NYS/NYC. They are presented with the aim to educate, spark meaningful discourse, and raise awareness in our communities and for clinicians serving, or interested in serving, the military and veteran community.
Certificate
This virtual two-day conference is free and accessible to all, but provides 10 free CEs for all social workers, LMFTs, LMHCs, and licensed psychologists.
You must attend the entirety of this training both days of the conference. You will receive a course evaluation to the email you registered with after the second day of the conference.
You must complete and submit your evaluation by Wednesday, June 4th at 5:00pm in order to receive your CE certificate.
Your certificate will be sent to the email you registered with by June 13th.
You do not need to complete an evaluation after the first day of the conference.
