Workshop Description
This 2-hour webinar will provide an overview of the family caregiving crisis in the United States and explore the multifaceted impacts of caregiver stress and burden on more than 53 million unpaid family caregivers in the United States. The presenter will describe the prevalence of family caregiving and the typical responsibilities involved. The webinar will then delve into the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual effects that caregiving can have on the caregiver, including increased risk for depression, anxiety, chronic health conditions, and spiritual distress.
