Mindfulness practice is effective in therapeutic approaches. This workshop will explore Mindful Eating and present techniques/strategies utilized in psychotherapy to enhance client confidence and increase wellness. When clients present health and/or body image issues, how do we respond? Neuroscience research provides new evidence strengthening our ability to effect assessment and change.  

 

Learning Objectives:

After the completion of this webinar, participants will:

  • define compulsive eating and food addiction
  • assess client readiness to learn and apply Mindful eating techniques to create lasting habit change
  • review current evidence and integrate research findings on Mindful Eating concepts and the new neuroscience on habit change.
  • establish strategies and techniques for implementing Mindful Eating guidance for their clients

This workshop is approved for 1.5 continuing education credit hours.
