Steering Meetings
The NASW-NYS Central Division meets monthly to discuss issues impacting the profession and share ideas on programs and initiatives that would best serve our members and community. Our meetings are usually held on a Tuesday at Upstate Medical University's OASIS/HealthLink in East Syracuse. All members, new and current, are welcome to drop by at any upcoming meeting! Can’t make it in person? Call-in option is available!
Division Facebook Group
The NASW-NYS Central Division Facebook Group is a place for members and potential members to engage with a network of peers to connect, discuss, and share knowledge, information, and professional resources.

Social Work Resource Fair Committee
Your Feedback and Participation is Needed!
The NASW-NYS Central Division needs your feedback to bring more events to the Division. We have been thinking about hosting a social work resource fair in all six counties during Social Work Month (March 2019). We are looking for interested individuals to help plan and develop the resource fair. Interested individuals should email Elyssa Saltzman (Central Division Chair) at Central.naswnys@socialworkers.org

MEET YOUR DIVISION
Central Division Steering Committee
Randall Stetson, Ph.D, LCSW-R
Region 2 Representative, Southern Tier and Central Divisions (2019-2021)
Randall Stetson, is a native Central New Yorker and a bilingual clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience. He has served on several community boards and have held both direct practice and administrative positions in mental health and child welfare organizations. Randall has held full-time teaching positions in both the sociology and human development programs at SUNY Oswego. He is also an adjunct instructor in the School of Social Work at Syracuse University. Randall earned a BA in Sociology from SUNY Oswego, an MSW degree from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Social Welfare from SUNY Albany.
