Following this course, participants will be able to:
1.Identify key challenges faced by military families and specifically children.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of military culture, including relocation of families, benefits, and short and long term impact points on individuals and families.
3. Learn areas for potential resiliency building, adaptability, and generational patterns.
4. Recognize signs of mental health challenges faced among military children, including anxiety, social strain, and interruptions in identify formation.
5. Apply knowledge of family systems in correlation with knowledge of military acculturation, in order to develop areas for support.
