The Public Health Emergency (PHE) is ending on May 11, 2023. This has caused some concern for social workers who have been working through telemental health (video conferencing) since the pandemic began in 2020. NASW-NYS is gathering data on the impact of telehealth on the supervisory relationship for New York State licensed social workers. We are hoping to gather social workers’ opinions on what has worked and what are the challenges to providing, or receiving video conferencing services.
There are two separate surveys; one for social work supervisors, and one for social work supervisees. If you are currently receiving supervision, or providing supervision as a New York State licensed social worker, please take the moment to fill out the corresponding survey.
