Live Webinar: Homelessness: Causes, Response Initiatives, & Special Issues

This workshop will provide an overview of individual vulnerabilities and societal causes of homelessness. This will cover the interplay of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and other trauma with experiences of oppression and shortages of jobs and affordable housing. The need for social work leadership in addressing homelessness will be tied to the NASW Code of Ethics, offering the RIS model perspective on response and describing the National Homelessness Social Work Initiative.
