Got the Nerves? We got you! Self and Community Care for Social Work Students
Every year, students report feeling nervous and unsure of how to balance their educational, professional, and personal lives. Well have no fear, your peers are here! This event will allow current social work students the opportunity to network and connect with peers. During this event students will have the opportunity to meet and converse with fellow social work students and share skills of self and community care. Self-care is often associated with privileged experiences, however this session will explore how everyone already practices and can continue to hone their skills in caring for themselves and their community. Building a strong community and network of peers is crucial to the profession!
