This workshop will specifically look at how trauma can manifest for immigrants and refugees and will explore the potential traumatic impact of the current political and cultural climate.

Learning Objectives:

After the completion of this webinar, participants will learn:

  • How to assess for trauma in immigrants and refugees
  • How stereotypes of immigrants and refugees may cause us to miss trauma
  • Understanding how the political and cultural implications may produce a trauma response in some clients
