Learning Objectives:

After the completion of this webinar, participants will:

  • Describe essential cultural elements of the US-based South Asian Community as an important guiding for their work within that community.
  • Predict the role of South Asian parents' perception of autism plays in accessing and utilizing community resources.
  • Review Social Capital Theory and construct associated interventions appropriate for work within the South Asian Parental Community impacted by Autism and other developmental disabilities.

This workshop is approved for 1.5 continuing education credit hours.

She owns Resolveera that helps special needs parents. Veera is a P/T mental health therapist and F/T Medical Social Worker.
