Workshop Description

This training is a follow-up to the in training entitled 'Writing Effective IEP Goals and Objectives for Social-Emotional and Behavioral Skills'. It is preferred that individuals took part 1 but it is not an absolute requirement, as we will briefly review key takeaways from part 1. In this training, participants will learn how to make effective measurement choices for measuring IEP goals and objectives, learn how to chart and graph student progress data, and learn to write rubrics to measure complex social and behavioral skills.  

 

Learning Objectives

After the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Make effective measurement choices when writing goals and objectives
  • Create charts to collect progress data effectively
  • Create graphs to display student progress visually
  • Write rubrics to measure complex social and behavioral skills

This workshop is approved for 2.0 continuing education credit hours.

Mahri Wrightington, Ph.D, earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College, and earned a doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Connecticut. Over the past 18 years, she has worked in the field of education as a school psychologist, school administrator, and education consultant.
