ABOUT THE NASW-NYS TEST PREP COURSE

NASW-NYS is offering an online live eight-hour licensing preparation class for the LMSW & LCSW exam. Open to students from all states, this test prep course is a live 8 hour presentation over two four-hour sessions on March 28 and 29, 2021. Presented by two of the best instructors and test prep aficionados out there, this course not only dissects the exam but will also frame the test within the foundation of social work values and give you tools for grounding yourself before, during, and after the training.

What makes our test prep different from the other options out there? Courses like this are all about who is presenting the content, and how they present it. Dr. Folusho and Dr. Kennedy are not only genuinely engaging and well versed in virtual learning, they have extensive experience real life in coaching students to reach their academic and licensure goals. This dynamic duo packs test tips and exercises into every minute of these eight hours together, keeping your attention with ease and your eye on the prize. Most importantly, students and past test prep attendees evaluate them with excellent marks, with %100 of students saying they would take their classes again on Rate My Professors.

With the ability to re-watch and reference the course as many times as you need, we are here to ensure you are calm and confident as you apply to and sit for the exam.

This eight-hour course was designed for social workers preparing to take the Masters Level ASWB exam or the Clinical Level ASWB exam. This course focuses on the following key areas:

  3. reviewing concepts for the clinical exam (Assessment and Diagnosis; Clinical Treatments and Modalities; Psychotropic Medications; and DSM5), and
  4. developing and practicing mechanisms to overcome anxiety, and specifically test anxiety

After the test, you will receive a recording of the full 8 hour program to watch, digest, and reference as many times as needed.
